a poetic response to art...

During the lockdown, I participated in an inspiring poetry workshop with Shane Strachan. We were asked to respond to a piece of art from the archives in Grampian Hospital Art Trust. I chose a painting by Louise Charlton and it can be seen at the beginning of this clip. It was a great process to write poetry again after so many years and to respond with words to a visual input. It was also my first Zoom meeting with other creatives and it stands to show that even with all the changes and restrictions during this time, creativity and collaboration is possible and thriving!
